Lok Sabha to convene on March 5

On 9 February, 2018, Congress members raised the issue of Rafale fighter aircraft deal demanding to know its cost in the Lok Sabha. The members from Andhra Pradesh (Telugu Desam Party and Yuvajana Shramika Rythu) raised slogans in support of their demand for Special Status to Andhra Pradesh. Amid the protest, the Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day shortly after 12 p.m. The Rajya Sabha was also adjourned till 2.30 PM on the same issue.

The Lok Sabha will now convene on March 5, for the second half of the Budget Session.
